Where have I been that I didn’t know about these lovely fabrics?

I also bought the latest copies of Country Living and Gardeners’ World today - something to read whilst we are stuck indoors due to the constant rain.
Bought some delicious supplies at Peyton and Byrne in Heal’s today. Their cakes and teas are lovely!

I also bought some lovely vintage-style wooden pegs from Heal’s. I liked the packaging more than the contents and hope they’ll come in useful. The pegs with the pebbles are for holding down a tablecloth. If the rain ever stops we might just be able to use it - but I’m not holding my breath!

I love this new door mat, designed by Orla Kiely and on sale at Heal’s, with all profits to the Terence Higgins Trust. I love Heal’s but don’t usually find anything I really want. This, however, is made for my front door!
Tonight I made this cute frog from a lovely pattern on The Purl Bee website here
This unprepossessing plant is a cutting from my great-grandmothers garden. She died in 1956 so I think it’s crazy that this plant is still around. It has come to me via Swindon and Worcester and I’m wondering how it is going to take in our little city garden. It was given to us at the weekend by my aunt, along with some geraniums destined to update my window boxes.
