Not much crafting going on here lately as I’m struggling with a bad cold. I took the day off today so I could spend the day sneezing at home rather than at my desk. The morning was spent wrapping Christmas presents which are now ready to be delivered to family on the Isle of Wight in a couple of weeks.
This afternoon I worked on some swaps whilst watching my Spaced dvd.

These cute little bunnies fit in a small matchbox. One is a little shy, probably due to the fact his eyes were sewn on a bit wonky. Or perhaps he’s just fed up, like me. I’m meant to be on a course tomorrow and have tickets for a Keane gig in the evening. I need my voice back before then!
I’ve now been sneezing non-stop since Saturday so I’m beyond fed up. This is the only thing which has cheered me up this week (work-wise it has been pretty shit) - my youngest niece practising being a pumpkin for a party tomorrow.

I recently participated in a doll quilt swap on swapbot. This was a good opportunity for me to make a dolls quilt which so many people have blogged about recently. Here is the one I made for my partner. I used lots of vintage fabrics which gave it an autumnal feel (I hope).

I had completely forgot that I would be receiving a quilt too so was pleasantly surprised when this was waiting for me this week.

The colours are lovely and small butterflies have been quilted in each block.
Me and Mr Yellow-hat have had a quiet weekend. We went out and drank too much after work on Friday. We are now so old that we spent all day Saturday recovering. Today was spent doing some DIY on our drafty old house and trying to kill some bugs. I have an unhealthy knowledge of bugs due to my job and noticed some woolly bears hanging out in my fabric stash. Fingers crossed they won’t be around for much longer.
