I received this wonderful ornament from Neele in Dusseldorf this week. It was beautifully wrapped and a real pleasure to open!
I finished this last minute present for an aunt we are visiting tomorrow. The design is from simple sewing and was so simple to make. I used some of my favourite Cath kidston fabric.
We also made some delicious gingerbread biscuits so I hope my aunt likes her handmade gifts. I even made a little felt Robin gift tag!
No posting yesterday as we didn’t get back from the Amy Winehouse gig at Brixton until after midnight.She was absolutely brilliant, and only 45 minutes late.
Today we have been searching all over London for a replacement fret for our fireplace. Non-one was willing to see us the bit we wanted so it looks like we’ll be buying a repro on the internet. We popped into Marylebone and looked round a small market at the top of hte high street where we picked up these lovely biscuits (almost all gone).
We also picked up some wallpaper samples from Farrow & Ball. Hopefully we will make some progress with the lounge before too long.
